Many hold Ph.D.s, all have extensive management and industry experience as well as specific training to enable them to work deeply with individuals, groups, and organizations. Jeff Evans, Ph.D - Transformational Change, Executive Coach and Leadership Development Consultant
Jeff is founder and owner of the Gaian Group, a leadership development firm. The Gaian Group focuses on developing and supporting a new type of dynamic, inspirational presence in leaders around the world. Through this leadership, people and organizations are transformed.
Jeff practices in the areas of human systems change and organizational capability, serving clients in a powerful capacity as learning partner and coach. He has spent the past 18 years heavily involved in supporting executives through transformational change, organizational development, and the management of organizational development and education systems. His wide experience includes work as both an internal and external consultant.
As an internal organizational development consultant, Jeff consulted on new organization designs and startups, large group change methodologies, and joint ventures and alliances in international and global settings. He has also led work redesigns in manufacturing and business unit settings, numerous improvement projects and team development activities, as well as designed and implemented many training, education, and quality systems at plant and division levels. His client base has ranged from international executive teams to manufacturing management teams in retail, manufacturing, information technology, telecommunications, research and development, as well as oil and gas exploration.
As a speaker, Jeff has been a key presenter at conferences in the areas of organization development, large scale change, and internal consulting support. He has authored numerous papers and research studies on learning organizations, leadership, training design, and training systems.
He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and social sciences, including a Ph.D. in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M, specializing in Organizational Development and Instructional System Design. He completed a 3 Year Post-Graduate track in organization development at the Gestalt Institute in Cleveland and has done post-doctoral work in behavioral systems, organizations, and the psychology of group dynamics. Jeff has developed and taught extension courses in Human Resource Development through UC Berkeley�s College of Business .
Jeff is also founder and owner of The Emotional Intelligence Institute of Santa Barbara , and is co-author of the book �Ten Tasks Of Change�.
