We are a group of coaches and consultants who specialize in people.  How they learn, how they grow, how they change.  It is our passion.  Therein is our practice. We coach people to change and grow through choice and intention.

Executive Coaching

Executive coaching roots lie in organizational development, management experience, behavioral science and psychology. The Gaian Group is on the cutting edge of developing integrated approaches to leadership development. We meld these disciplines into leadership coaching programs that are a mix of both change-oriented coaching (changing certain behaviors and beliefs) and growth-oriented coaching (focused on sharpening performance) to enable our clients to reach their full leadership potential. Behavioral scientists have shown that the type of one-on-one coaching offered by Gaian is one of the most effective approaches to helping people make and sustain change in their lives.

The fundamental goals of our programs are three-fold:

  • We are deeply committed to helping our ”coachee” develop their own skills and abilities
  • We partner to help our “coachee” achieve their stated needs and goals.
  • We recognize and support the business proposition required for executive coaching to be successful.

Leadership Tranformation

The Leadership Transformation Coaching Program is a highly personal one-on-one relationship. It provides a collaborative partnership between coach and client. The coach offers non-judgmental guidance, mentoring and support over a six-month to two-year period. In our programs, individuals will understand how building awareness in their lives drives the transformational change cycle. Transformation is the natural outcome of bringing awareness to your life. It is this recognition or “aha” moment that is the call to action to change or fix what is discovered. The challenge then becomes leaving old-self defeating habits and adopting new self-affirming ones to make the necessary changes. The coach enables change by helping individuals to overcome personal obstacles, maximize strengths and reach their full potential in achieving their desired goals.

Our coaching is designed to create significant change in our clients. We do this through a strongly affirming approach of starting with the clients greatest strengths. Each of us has learned how to be successful from a myriad of teachers: our business mentors, professors, favorite authors, parents, and others. We have woven all of these ideas into a tapestry that gets bonded with the reinforcement of our success to date. This gets used every day, in every decision, and we cling to it tightly when times are the hardest. We call this your “Winning Strategy”. Simply put, it is the set of beliefs and behaviors that has worked to get you to where you are today. We start here and help you design and fabricate a revised Winning Strategy that is created based on where you want to be tomorrow and help you start living it today. Our contribution to your new Winning Strategy is to enhance it with research based behaviors and techniques for leadership. Our contribution to our coachee is to add in the ability to tap into their authentic self and develop Inspirational Presence™.

Process Based Engagements

Our engagements are process-based with a strong focus on outcomes. While the length and depth of each will vary, the overall process and our intentions will be constant. During the course of our engagements, we use customized assessments to provide 360 degree feedback and Emotional Intelligence development. We use tested methods and solid learning theory to support change. Our assessment process is multi-faceted and extensive. During this phase of the process, we gather data on the individual and on the organizational context of the engagement. We provide focused learning opportunities for the individual, opportunities for the organization, and facilitate readiness. Where other programs offer feedback and debriefing, we take this feedback and create personal development plans for each coachee. The relationship is collaborative and incorporates the learning styles of each coachee to ensure that the plans can be accomplished. Some of our packages include workshops where participants gain direct experience and detailed feedback on their learning edges. At the end of the development program, each participant will have learned and honed their own Winning Strategy producing dramatic results.
